Petrichor watercolour paints are ideal for use in calligraphy inks, hand lettering and accent work for watercolour painting. Creating this paint takes 3 to 4 sometimes even 5 layers of paint, which each one drying approximately 1 - 2 weeks before the next is added. Using only the best pigments and mica in this watercolour means you get very high opacity paint! Despite this process, handmade paints are prone to a few air bubbles and after being tapped, sometimes air bubbles may persist. Also because every paint is hand mulled you may notice a couple of little bubbles, and occasionally cracking in some paint lines (this is normal) and it doesn't affect the paint quality in any way!
For best results apply 2 to 3 drops of water onto the paint and wait between 60-90 secs then reactivate your paint with a brush.
